Prepare and find the entrance
Bring light, medicine and food, and save outside the cave. Look for a boarded opening in the rock wall on the northern coast. Break the boards with an axe. This pickup does not require a Shovel, Rope Gun or keycard.
Follow the left branch
- Collect visible air tanks near the entrance and move along the water route.
- At the main fork, go left for the Rebreather. The right branch goes towards the Stun Gun.
- Pass the life jackets and continue through the narrow passage to the large pool.
- Follow the right-hand bank towards the light and pick up the Rebreather.
- Confirm Rebreather in your inventory and keep air tanks for diving.
Leave the cave
Return along the route you entered, or equip the Rebreather and take the underwater opening near the pickup to swim into the sea. The pool may contain a shark: swimming through is not guaranteed safe, and killing it is not a hard prerequisite for collecting the equipment.
If you lack air or prefer to avoid the pool, reconsider the bank route rather than jumping into darkness. Use the Rebreather together with the Rope Gun for the Shovel cave.
